Arbiter

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Overview

Arbiter ("we", "us", "our") operates arbiterpro.dev. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Arbiter you agree to this policy.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data — email address and encrypted password when you sign up.
  • Uploaded documents — files you upload for auditing are processed in memory and are not stored permanently on our servers.
  • Audit results — conflict reports generated from your documents are stored in your account so you can review them later.
  • Usage data — number of audits run, audit timestamps, and document file names.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the document auditing service.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
  • To enforce usage limits on free accounts.
  • To improve the accuracy and performance of our AI pipeline.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — database and authentication. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
  • OpenAI — document content is sent to OpenAI's API to perform conflict analysis. OpenAI's data usage policies apply.
  • Brevo — used to send transactional emails.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

5. Document Content & AI Processing

Document content you upload is sent to OpenAI for analysis. We do not use your document content to train our own models. OpenAI may retain API inputs per their own data retention policy. Do not upload documents containing sensitive personal information unless you have reviewed OpenAI's privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

Audit results are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your audit history at any time from your dashboard. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@arbiterpro.dev.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Arbiter after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
